Celine wears the bracelet Francis bought her 2 yrs prior and holds a bottle of pills in her hands, saying, 'i'm your destiny too.'
Sandy goes around 'dreamy forest' and remembers times spent w/ Adrian together. Sandy sits on the rocking chair Adrian made and silently tells Francis she's keeping her promise, asking if he will too.
Francis is driving and receives a call saying Celine took some pills and is hospitalized. Francis stepsister calls Steven to tell him about Celine.
mr. park overhears a couple of guys talking about Celine and tells Jennifer that Celine tried to commit suicide.

Francis rushes to the hospital finding Celine unconscious on the hospital stretcher. Celine’s parents blame Francis. Francis finds Celine’s letter telling her parents not to blame Francis cuz it's all her fault and death is the only thing she can do.
Sandy continues to wait for Francis at 'dreamy forest'….

[spoiler]at the hospital, Francis parents visit a still unconscious Celine. mr.yoon tells mr.kang he won't forgive them, knowing Celine had suffered alone all this time.
Jennifer calls Sandy to tell her Celine took a whole bottle of pill and almost died. Sandy takes a cab back to seoul.
Franics is sitting by Celine when she finally awakes. Francis asks how she's feeling and at first she tells him to leave since he wants to be w/ Sandy but when Francis gets up Celine grabs his hand and begs him to stay even if all she has is his shell.

doc says Celine’s gonna be ok. Sandy arrives at the hospital and watches as Francis tells mr.yoon he likes someone else.. and sees mr.yoon slap Francis, then warns him he will cease to help global.
Steven’s foreign investor gets a call from mr. yoon's office saying yoon is willing to sell the global stocks at 5% premium.

Francis talks to Celine while she's asleep. Francis says he tried to love her but he couldnt and he couldnt forget Sandy no matter how hard he tried and now he cant do anything w/out Sandy.
Francis asks Celine if she can let him go since she loves him. Celine hears him. Francis leaves and Celine pulls her ivy out.
Sandy arrives at Celine’s room and senses something's wrong since Celine is out. Sandy runs around the hospital looking for Celine.

Steven arrives and sees Sandy running. Sandy goes up to the rooftop and sees Celine about to jump off.
Sandy yells stop and Celine replies she knows all about Francis being Adrian…and tells Sandy to close her eyes for a moment while she jumps, and when she opens her eyes she'll be gone out of their lives.
Sandy stops Celine if this is what she calls love. Celine says what else can she do since Francis is hurting so much and she loves him more than life itself. Sandy cries saying Celine is a bad woman.. attempting suicide infront of her.. then Sandy leaves.
Steven sees them and escorts Celine back. Steven finds Sandy and reminds Celine and Francis started 10 years ago.
Sandy says she didnt think about how another person could lose everything because of her. Sandy then says she thinks she needs to let Francis go now.

Francis calls Sandy and Sandy holds her tears back to answer. Sandy asks him what happened to him she waited all day. Francis says he's really sorry some emergency came up and he was tied up at work all day, then asks if she waited w/out sleeping.
Sandy lies she was all ready for bed but he woke her up. Francis lies too saying he's in bed too. Sandy has a difficult time holding back tears so she tells Francis she's really sleep and he wishes her sweet dreams and they hang up.
afterwards Sandy calls Celine.

meanwhile SG (Steaven’s friend) meets w/ mr.yoon to buy mr. yoon's stocks. afterwards SG (Steven’s Friend) calls STeven to say everything went smoothly. Steven reminds him about their next step.
mr. kang tells his secretary to call Sandy into his office, Sandy goes to meet mr. kang.
mr. kang asks Sandy if she knows why he called her. Sandy replies she has an idea. mr. kang asks what it will take since Francis cant leave Celine… is it a house? money?
Sandy replies she's leaving Francis but asks mr. kang to agree to just one condition.

Sandy gets her hair done and gets a new outfit.. telling herself she has to do it well since it's the last time Adrian will see her.
mr. yoon thinks about Sandy’s condition, which is he must tell Francis she took a bunch of money from him in exchange to give up Francis.. and he must keep the truth a secret forever.
Sandy calls Francis to say she skipped work and wants him to play w/ her. Francis goes to see her at the ice-skating ring and the two laugh away skating together.
Francis falls and Sandy asks if his old wound is ok. Francis was surprised and asks her how she knows he was hurt before. Sandy brushes him off saying he told her before.
Sandy watches as Francis skates alone smiling, and silently tells him to smile like so.. forget about memories he cant remember…

preview 16: mr. kang is unconscious at the icu. Francis gets Sandy’s letter saying she was lying to him about everything so not to meet another girl like her…[/spoiler]

 

Episode 16

Francis takes Sandy home. Francis says he had a great time. Sandy replies he should just go without coming out of the car.
just then Celine calls. Sandy says he should answer it. Francis starts to tell her why he couldnt keep his date to 'dreaming forest' but Sandy cuts him off saying he already told her he was tied up w/ work and she understands.
then Sandy thx Francis for a great day together. Francis replies she was extra beautifull today and they part.

Francis listens to Celine’s voicemail saying she's leaving the hospital and wants him to come by. Sandy returns home and silently tells Adrian she's letting go of the necklace curse so he must live happier than anyone.
Steven tells mr.kang and Francis the bad news that global might be facing a forced overtake. mr. kang and Francis are still optimistic about saving their company.
after Steven leaves mr. kang tells Francis destiny must be Celine. Francis replies he cannot give up Sandy under any circumstance and apologizes.

Francis finds out Sandy left her resignation letter w/ Jennifer. Francis leaves a message on Sandy’s cell asking her what's going on, then looks for Sandy everywhere.
mr.noh forces his way into mr.kang's office to tell him Steven is the one who bought mr.yoon's share of stocks to destroy mr.yoon.
mr.yoon calls Steven into his office.. slaps him and asks Steven what his intentions are. Steven acts innocent at first then speechless when mr.kang throw at him the evidence mr.noh gave him.

it's snowing.. Francis goes back to the iceskating ring and thinks as he watches ppl skate the way him and Sandy did. Sandy arrives too and sees Francis staring into space. Sandy hesitates about what to do..
then Sandy calls Celine to tell her she's kept her promise and she has a request. Celine thx her and says she'll listen to any request. Sandy instructs Celine to take good care of Francis and if he ever gets his memory back just tell him it was all a dream.

Steven picks up the paper mr.kang threw at him and says these paper dont amount to any real evidence against what he spent 20 years preparing.
mr.kang asks why Steven is being like this and Steven reveals himself as sejinhwa's jung il-soo's heir… who lost his parents to suicide because of mr.kang's ruthless business practice.
Francis gets a call from his mom saying mr.kang has fainted. Steven still pretends to be innocent and stands by mr.kang's bed.
Francis arrives and mom starts to blame Francis for all this, saying Sandy had asked mr.kang a huge sum of money just to leave Francis.

Francis gets a message on his phone from Sandy, who says she had calculated all this from day 1 when she met him and he seemed like a prince to her. Sandy warn Francis to never again be conned by someone like her.
doc says mr.kang is stable for now but it may take a few days for him to regain his consciousness. Francis stepsister arrives and blames Francis for being born, causing the misfortunes of kang family. Francis mom pleads to stop the yelling.
Jennifer calls her mom to tell her what's going on and tells her if Sandy returns just leave her alone.

Steven’s friend SG follows Sandy around under Steven’s instruction. Sandy gets a job working as a convenient store clerk.
meanwhile Francis stands by his father's hospital bedside…
mr.noh gets in his car and is met by SG with a knife under noh's throat. noh asks if he's sent by Steven but SG orders noh to start driving.

Francis asks Jennifer if she's heard from Sandy. Jennifer advices Francis to forget Sandy for his own good. Francis asks Jennifer if it were her could she so easily forget it all.. when the person you know suddenly changes overnight saying everything was a lie?
Jennifer replies there's nothing she can say and since Sandy probably has her own reason the best thing Francis can do is to go along with Sandy’s decision. Francis replies he has to meet Sandy and hear from her face to face even if everything was a lie.
Celine visits mr.kang and stays by his side so mr. park can rest. Francis gets ready to drive to 'dreaming forest'..

Sandy looks around the street outside the store cuz she senses someone watching but finds nobody.
Steven silently tells Sandy to wait for him and he will help her erase kang Francis from her heart, as he watches Sandy from across the street.

Francis is on the road to 'dreaming forest' but he gets a call from his mom and turns around to go to the hospital.
doc says mr.kang is conscious but it may be a while before he can speak or ever recover. Francis rushes by his dad's bedside. mr.kang sees Steven and starts to stare at Steven.
Steven and Francis drink at the tent bar. Francis tells Steven until he speaks to Sandy in person he's not gonna believe anything. Steven tells Francis that Sandy told him her goal was to get in global to look for someone, when Steven first met her.

Sandy sees a guy tending to his gf's cut at the store and thinks about the time Adrian nurtured her cut…
Francis goes to the place Sandy used to live w/ Jennifer and cries… asking Sandy where she disappeared to.
meanwhile Sandy tells her 'i love you' stuffed animal not to ache anymore.

Steven is alone at the hospital by mr.kang who cant move or say anything except to stare at Steven. Steven says it's too bad kang's gonna miss out on the glory tomorrow and leaves.
Francis tries to go over all the numbers again before the company meeting. Steven watches as the employees arrive at the meeting, including mr.noh who is being forced-escorted by SG.
the old teamlead tells jennifer a foreign company may have more shares of stocks over mr.kang.

Steven hosts the company meeting. a shareholder stands up to demand an explanation on why the company stock is dropping so fast and asks Steven to clear up on the market rumor that a foreign company will undertake global.
Francis stands up to say w/ his dad's 10%, his 7%, and HJ's 4%, plus Steven’s shares their company is untouchable.
but Steven says he's siding his 3.1% against kang.. then mr.noh says he's siding his 0.4% againt kang too.. and SG says he's siding his 0.6% against kang as well..
then mr. joo, Steven’s co-conspire, says he will throw in his 0.2% against kang as well.. which means kang family has less than the foreign company… Francis cannot believe what he's hearing and loses his steadiness standing..

 

episode 16

HW takes ES home. HW says he had a great time. ES replies he should just go without coming out of the car.

episode 18

Sandy tells Steven someday a miraculous love will come to him as well, then sandy leaves.
alone, Francis goes by the bench where he made his promise to Sandy previously and misses Sandy.
as Fancis is about to leave he sees Sandy arriving. Sandy is looking for her necklace. Sandy is surprised to see francis too and freezes.
franis asks Sandy why she's looking so hard for the lost necklace if everything was a lie. Sandy says it's none of his business.
francis warns Sandy not to try to con other men with her dead lover sob story since he is the only man naiive enough for her story.
Sandy congrats him for his engagement to Celine. Francis says it's her doing and he will always remember it so.

Francis brushes shoulder with a drunk guy accidently and the guy and his friends start to fight him.
Francis falls knocking his head on the cement ground. as he is about to get up he sees a couple buying necklace from a street vendor and he gets a flashback of himself giving someone (Sandy) a necklace.
Celine picks out her engagement jewelry and sees francis's necklace. celine is about to toss it but puts it back in her case instead.
in his sleep Francis sees a clearer image of himself giving the same necklace to a girl… and francis wakes up in sweat.

at breakfast Francis asks his mom if he had any jewelry or trinkets with him when he returned a year ago from being missing and mom says no.
Celine gets ready to go to the salon. mom rushes her out. Celine says she forgot her jewelry and mom offers to get it but she takes the wrong box.
francis is on his way to the ceremony and he keeps getting clearer and clearer image of himself giving necklace to a girl. though the image is rough he hears himself say 'i love you Sandy' to the girl and Sandy saying 'i love you Adrian' back.

at the ceremony, Celine asks the coordinator to get her jewelry from her mom. francis arrives to get Celine. Celine says she has to go get a drink and leaves momentarily.
while celine is gone the coordinator arrives and Francis accidently knocks the box open. Francis discovers his necklace and reads the script with Adrian's promise to Sandy.
Celine comes back and Francis asks why Celine has the necklace. Celine tries to come up w/ some explanation but francis demands her to confess. celine admits she hid the truth from him but it's too late now since he must get engaged to save his company.
Francis gets ready to leave and Celine says to forget the woman who has already left. Francis says no because Sandy is the one who saved him, the one who taught him about love.
Francis says w/out Sandy he would be dead. Sandy gave him the courage to live. afterwards Francis leaves leaving Celine weeping alone.

Sandy gets back to 'dreaming forest' and takes over the duties from Jennifer's mom after thanking her.
Steven arrives at the hotel and sees all the guests leaving wondering why the groom was a no-show.
francis calls Jennifer and finds out Sandy went back to the resthouse. Francis drives there, crying as he remembers his life as adrian with Sandy, including their engagement.

SANdy sends off guests at the bus terminal. Francis arrives at 'dreaming forest' and rings the bell. Jennifer's mom opens the door and is shocked.
Sandy returns and finds a card from Jennifer's mom on the table telling her she has a big surprise gift for her at the mailbox.

Sandy goes to mailbox Adrian built her and finds nothing but her letters to Adrian. then adrian shows up and asks if she found a present. Sandy is surprised but gets upset and asks Adrian to stop bothering her.
Adrian says to Sandy because he took off the necklace first he will have to listen to her from now on since that's the curse. Sandy is shocked at what francis said cuz he sounds like Adrian… then Sandy sees Francis wearing Adrian's necklace.
Francis gets emotional and tells Sandy his promise again.. the one he wrote inside the necklaces.. 'even if i have no memory.. no.. even if i get my memory back… i promise to love you always and be with you always'…
Adrian and Sandy embrace…

Adrian and Sandy visit the cot they used to lounge on and adrian says it's still hanging strong… they sit on the cot to talk.
Adrian says he had a lotta things he wanted to say but now that he sees her he doesn't remember the words.
Sandy says if he can't remember it's ok since he can slowly tell her each thing one day at a time. Adrian says she must've suffered so much…and how he was afraid she might tell him she doesn't need any byuk chang-ho now.
Sandy says when she left the resthouse to look for him she may have already known that their happiness was already over.. but she stay went to look for him cuz she wanted to give back the happiness he's given her even if he doesn't recognize her.
they return to the house and Adrian looks at Sandy's father's picture. sandy tells Adrian she's not sure what to call him… Adrian or francis or vice-president. Adrian says he can be Adrian when he needs Adrian and francis when she needs Francis.

Sandy falls asleep and Francis takes her to her room. francis sees a stack of letters on the nightstand Sandy wrote to Adrian while he was missing and begins to read one.
in the letter Sandy says she won't get mad at adrian for disappearing.. all she wants is to see him back… what she wanted more than anything was to wake up in the morning and see him.. so hurry back.
adrian steps out to the porch at night and remembers the time Steven saw him at 'dreaming forest'… and SG being the one who tried to sent him off on a boat.
Adrian calls mr. park and says there's something he needs him to find out for him.

Celine tells her mom she was the one who broke up w/ Francis cuz she doesn't want to live with a shell for the rest of her life.
Steven is restless and calls Sandy but gets no answer.

Sandy wakes up and goes to Adrian's room but under the sheets there are only pillows. Sandy goes to the backyard and sees adrian hanging washed laundry. Adrian asks Sandy if she's impressed at his skills.
Sandy goes up to Adrian and tells him he doesn't need to try so hard to return to theway things were cuz to her he's the same….both adrian and francis love her and she loves both adrian and francis.
Adrian hugs her and the two share a long embrace under the hanging sheets.
Sandy and Adrian drive up to seoul. Sandy asks what's gonna happen to the company. Adrian says he's not gonna lose. Adrian asks Sandy to keep the fact that he got his memory back a secret.
Sandy agrees and Adrian squeezes her cheek saying she's so obedient he wants to fold her up and stuff her in his pocket.

Steven calls 'dreaming forest' looking gor sandy and Jennifer's mom tells him Sandy went to seoul. Steven asks if she went by herself and mom asks who's calling

Steven finds out Sandy is on her way to seoul and Steven calls Celine to meet.
Francis returns and his mom is upset at him for being gone. francis asks her to trust him.
Francis meets mr. park and Francis asks him to continue his efforts in looking into the background of the foreign company.
Francis also tells mr. park he plans to launch the new product under a new company name and asks him to prepare to start a new company together.
Jennifer hears about francis getting his memory back from her mom and jennifer congrats Sandy when they meet.

Celine arrives outside Steven's office and overhears Steven asking SG to look for Sandy.. and verify whether Sandy is with francis.
SG asks Steven if Francis's gotten his memory back. Celine is shocked at what she hears. Steven tells SG to shut up and leave… and work on finding Sandy.
Celine and Steven talk. Celine tells Steven she knows he likes Sandy and he must be wondering why Francis left her at their engagement. steven replies that's true. he's dying to know the reasons.
celine comments she believes Francis is with sandy right now. and Celine tells Steven she broke up with francis on their engagement because she wasn't sure if she could live with him for a lifetime.
Celine lies saying she feels relieved that Francis is gone. Steven sees her trembling and says that's great if she really put away her feelings so easily. Celine says she has to leave and gets up.
as Celine is leaving, Steven says to her 'you still tremble when you lie'…

mr. park gives Francis a list of names of people that are willing to move to the new company and Francis starts the new office.
Sandy gets a call from Steven who is standing outside her house. Sandy goes out and tells Steven not to come anymore.
Steven says to Sandy if she really cared about Steven she should've left him alone cuz from this day forward Steven will treat Francis as a rival.
Sandy replies no matter what happens between her and Francis they will never separate and she will never go to Steven.
Steven grabs Sandy's wrist and warns her Francis's life and death is in her hands. Sandy tries to shake his grip off but Francis arrives.

Francis tells Steven to let go of Sandy and tells Sandy to go inside cuz he wants to talk to Steven alone. Francis and Steven talk and both comment they never thought they would be having this discussion.
Steven tells Francis he made a promise to andy on a day when she was weeping.. Steven had promised her he would never make her cry.
Steven asks Francis what he can offer Sandy besides heartaches. Francis replies at this moment he might be giving her trouble and he can't promise he won't make her cry but he will be true to Sandy always… and will always be with her at all times.

Francis says to Steven he doesn't want to see her hurt more because of Steven and asks Steven not to bother Sandy anymore. Steven doesn't know what to say and francis turns around to say he's leaving first.
francis goes back to Sandy. She is waiting for him outside and Francis says she should wait inside. Sandy asks if he was surprised and Francis says Steven is just someone a lot more complicated than they thought.

Celine worries as she thinks about what she overheard outside Steven's office.
Celine calls Sandy to meet. Celine says she wanted to call Francis but she wasn't brave enough so she called her. sandy asks what she's worried about.
Celine tells Sandy she overheard something at Steven's place and she suspects steven knew where Francis was while he was missing in kang-won province.
Sandy says she thought Steven and Francis were as tight as brothers. Celine tells Sandy she's sure Steven knew where francis was but kept it quiet for some reason and Celine tells Sandy she has to protect Francis cuz Francis still trusts Steven and Steven is capable of doing anything.

Steven meets with mr. joo and shows him he's depositing the sum of money into mr. joo's account as they agreed upon.
mr. joo is satisfied and asks Steven if they should stop the destruction now that things are turned upside down at global. Steven says he wont stop until he sees the final end of global.
mr. joo says in that case there's nothing he can do and leaves. Steven stops him and asks if mr. joo had anything to do with se-jin-hwa's understaking. mr. joo gets nervous and says that was done by mr. noh not him.

Sandy eats lunch with Francis. Francis is starving and Sandy nags him for not taking care of himself. Francis says he's fine and they talk about Francis's new company. Francis says things aren't going too smoothly cuz they are too many similar products in the market.
Sandy mentions the warnmess of her rice stone bowl and it gives Francis an inspiration. Francis drops Sandy off by the roadside and rushes back to his office.
mr. park finds out Steven is likely the face behind the foreign company and tells Francis.

Francis asks Sandy to go somewhere with him. they travel to the fishing town where Francis supposedly lived according to Steven and they look for mr. hwang, who supposedly took care of Francis but they can't find mr. hwang and the new owner of the restaurant where mr. hwang used to work said mr. hwang skipped town after scoring a big money job by lying to some big shot in seoul.
HJ gives her stepmom (HW's mom) some new clothes and tells her to rest or else she might faint too like mr. kang. Francis' mom is touched at the gesture and tries to warm up to HJ as well.

Sandy tells francis she met Celine earlier and she told her Steven knew Francis was at 'dreamy forest' but pretended to not know and tried to hide it from the family.
Francis says what he fears is that he may not be able to forgive Steven. Sandy replies what she fears is to see him get hurt.
Francis says he may have to be ruthless against Steven from now on. Sandy tries to cheer him by taking him to the beach and enjoy a carefree time together.

francis tries to market the new product, heated flooring, to a japanese client group who has shareholder interest in global.
Steven tries to go after the same client but during their meeting the japanese client rejects steven's product in favor of francis'. francis and mr. lee (the guy HW tried to elist help from before) arrive at the meeting.
mr. lee says he will change his substancial amount of global shareholding in favor of Francis. Steven is pissed but SG who is outside sees cops arriving and rushes into the meeting to warn Steven.
Steven and SG, and their foreign conspire run before they can be caught by the cops. Francis runs after steven and demands an answer why Steven is so cruel to him and his family when all he has done to him was to treat him like a brother.
Steven replies global group succeeded with the blood of his parents. Francis is shocked and speechless.
